Attack and transfers

Go years without a fit capable striker available each week.

Sign a real goalscorer in Chico but dont play to his strengths with a second striker and stick him up top on his own and then drop him.

Finally AC has a resonable period of being injury free or atleast less long term injuries than past years -but inconsistant with attitude and goals.

Sakho the best goalscorer we have has finally sorted out the operation on his back and is back to full fitness - but dont play him because he has a new contract that pays him a bonus each time he plays/starts - clearly only given the contract to tie him to us so we can sell him for a profit - money again over trying to win games.

Ayew - cost well over what he is worth and wont score many goals.

Now they are trying to sell all four and replace with loan signings - seriously even by the boards recent past they are hitting a new low!

Who the fuck says we are trying to sell all four? There's enough garbage in the press without fuckwits on here joining in.

I know it shouldn't after all these years of being on here, but it surprises me that there's posters on here who are prepared to give Sakho the time of day.

Moyes also said...

"The agents are working hard naturally but, in terms of strikers, I don’t necessarily believe we need another one this month. "

Re: Attack and transfers
Lets face it on past seasons, we will sell Chico and Sakho (the two players we should be playing together in attack).
Sullivan will make amazing bids of £30-40 million for Messi etc and sign no one, and then on transfer deadline day sign a couple of donkey loans that no else wants.
Andy Carroll will immediately get injured and ruled out for the rest of the season and we will be left to play Ayew up front who will go on to score two goals for the remaining half of the season!

Re: Attack and transfers
How does that translate to us selling all of our strikers?

I can see Sakho and maybe one other leaving but no more than that.

The owners are tight but they aren't insane enough to sell all the forwards in one transfer window.

Re: Attack and transfers
"We would really like a couple of players in the January window if we could do it but I couldn't turn around and say to you that we're guaranteed to do it and I couldn't turn around and say to you and the West Ham supporters 'Here we are this is what we've got'," Moyes told whufc.com.

"We're not there yet. I hope we can do it. I do think I want to make sure we try and bring in the right players who can stay at the club for a while.

"But in the same breath maybe in this window all we can get maybe is a couple of loans possibly and see how they do from there."

Re: Attack and transfers
Well, we may as well sell Sakho and Chica seeing as Ayew, Antonio, Arnoutovic, & Carroll are ahead of them in the pecking order.

Sakho has a good goals record this season despite lack of game time, Chica would have had more he played more and the side been set up to supply him.

Ridiculous situation, and Carroll is injured again, as is Antonio.
